Your account, your call. You can delete your Life OS account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how — from inside the app, or from here if you no longer have access.
Before you delete (optional)
If you want a copy of your data first, you can export everything in JSON format from inside the app. Deletion is immediate and irreversible, so export now if you want a record.
Delete from inside the app
If you can still sign in, this is the fastest path:
- Sign in at app.whatisyourlife.com.
- Open Settings from the side navigation.
- Scroll to the Danger Zone section.
- Tap Delete Account and type DELETE to confirm.
Your account and all associated data are erased immediately. The deletion is irreversible.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, all of the following are removed:
- Every section of your data stored in Firestore — including Health, Finance, Contacts, Family, Calendar, Lists, Events, Journal, and every other section you have used.
- Google Calendar integration tokens, so the Service can no longer access your calendar.
- Notification dedup records used to prevent repeat alerts.
- Your end-to-end encryption passphrase, which is stored locally in your browser's IndexedDB.
- All other locally cached data and preferences on the device you sign out from.
- Your Firebase Authentication account itself, so the same email can be used to sign up fresh in the future without inheriting old data.
Deletion is irreversible. There is no recovery path once the action is confirmed.
Shared data
If you collaborate on lists, vacations, or parties with other people: anything you own is deleted, and your participation in items shared with you by others is removed from those items. Other people's data is not affected.
If you no longer have access to the app
If you have uninstalled the app, lost access to your sign-in email, or otherwise cannot reach Settings, email support@whatisyourlife.com from any address. In the message, include the email address of the account you want deleted so we can verify and process the request. We respond within 7 days.
Revoking Google access separately
If you only want to disconnect Google Calendar from Life OS — without deleting your account — you can revoke the Service's access from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com. Life OS will immediately stop accessing your calendar.
